Laura Hurlbert, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Laura Hurlbert, PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist and manager of the therapy services department.

Prior to joining Orthopedic & Spine Centers of Wisconsin, Laura spent over a decade working in outpatient orthopedics, post-operative care, sports rehabilitation, and industrial therapy. With more than 15 years of experience as a physical therapist, she has led return-to-sport testing for athletes, developed enhanced rehab protocols for ACL recovery, and played a key role in industrial rehabilitation programs.  She enjoys working with patients of all ages and abilities to help achieve their goals and return to the activities that they love. 

Laura is certified in cupping and performing Functional Capacity Evaluations. 

Laura earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Bachelor of Science at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Outside the clinic, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and playing with her two kids.  She also enjoys socializing with friends, gardening, traveling to new places, weightlifting, swimming, and golfing. By practicing what she preaches, she demonstrates that an active lifestyle is achievable and beneficial at every stage of life.
