Occupational Therapist, Certified Hand Therapist

Sarah Wittak, OTD, OTR/L, CHT is a registered and licensed occupational therapist and certified hand therapist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of upper extremity conditions. She has a particular clinical interest in postpartum upper extremity injury prevention and is passionate about helping patients restore function and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Prior to joining Orthopedic & Spine Center of Wisconsin, Sarah earned her Post-Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate from Mount Mary University. She also earned both her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Biology from Carroll University, where she minored in Biochemistry and Psychology. In addition to her clinical practice, Sarah currently serves as a part-time professor, sharing her expertise in orthotic fabrication, biomechanics, and physical dysfunction interventions with future occupational therapy practitioners.

Sarah provides care for patients at the Arbor Gate Complex location, where she combines evidence-based treatment with individualized, compassionate care.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys crafting, gardening, and spending time outdoors. She values spending time with her husband, two children, and sassy aussiedoodle, Ellie. She is a committee member for the WI Hand Experience and contributing clinical member of the UW-Madison Occupational Therapy Journal Club. She is passionate about mentoring students and progressing  the hand therapy profession.  Her personal interests and commitment to wellness complement her professional dedication to helping others live active and meaningful lives.
